जलसंधारण विभाग के अभियंता को रिश्वत लेते रंगेहाथ पकड़ा गया – माप पुस्तिका व बिल पर हस्ताक्षर के लिए मांगी थी 50 हजार की रिश्वत

जिला परिषद जलसंधारण उपविभाग अंबड के एक अभियंता को भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक ब्यूरो (ACB) ने उस समय रंगेहाथ गिरफ्तार कर लिया, जब वह माप पुस्तिका (एमबी) और बिल फाइल पर हस्ताक्षर करने के बदले ₹45,000 की रिश्वत ले रहा था। अभियंता ने पहले ₹50,000 की मांग की थी, लेकिन बाद में सौदेबाज़ी के बाद ₹45,000 में बात तय हुई।
गिरफ्तार अभियंता का नाम मुजाहेद शेख (निवासी: छत्रपती संभाजीनगर) है। ACB जालना के पुलिस निरीक्षक शंकर मुटेकर के अनुसार, घनसावंगी तालुका के घोन्सी खुर्द गांव में जिला वार्षिक योजना 2023-24 के अंतर्गत ₹15 लाख की लागत से सीमेंट नाला बंधारे का काम मंजूर किया गया था। इस कार्य का ठेका राजलक्ष्मी बिल्डिंग मटेरियल सप्लायर्स को दिया गया था।
काम पूर्ण होने के बाद माप पुस्तिका (एमबी) और ₹14,64,273 के बिल पर अभियंता मुजाहेद शेख की स्वीकृति आवश्यक थी। इसी स्वीकृति के बदले उन्होंने शिकायतकर्ता से रिश्वत की मांग की थी।
ACB की टीम ने जाल बिछाकर 17 मार्च की शाम 6 बजे छत्रपती संभाजीनगर चौक के पास एक पेट्रोल पंप पर अभियंता को रिश्वत की रकम लेते हुए रंगेहाथ पकड़ लिया। अभियंता के पास से रिश्वत की रकम व मोबाइल जब्त कर लिए गए हैं और उनके निवास पर तलाशी भी जारी है।
