वक्फ संशोधन कानून पर एकतरफा आदेश न दिया जाए: केंद्र की सुप्रीम कोर्ट से अपील
नई दिल्ली: वक्फ संशोधन कानून को लेकर देश की सियासत गरमा गई है। इस कानून के खिलाफ कांग्रेस, एआईएमआईएम, आम आदमी पार्टी और कई मुस्लिम संगठनों ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में कुल 15 याचिकाएं दाखिल की हैं। इन याचिकाओं पर 15 अप्रैल को सुनवाई होने की संभावना है। इस बीच, केंद्र सरकार ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में कैविएट दाखिल कर आग्रह किया है कि बिना उसका पक्ष सुने कोई आदेश न दिया जाए।
दरअसल, बजट सत्र के दौरान संसद में वक्फ संशोधन विधेयक पेश किया गया था जिसे दोनों सदनों में पारित कर दिया गया। इसके बाद यह विधेयक राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू के पास भेजा गया, जिन्होंने 5 अप्रैल को इसे मंजूरी दे दी, और यह कानून बन गया।
हालांकि, विपक्षी दल और मुस्लिम संगठन लगातार इस कानून का विरोध कर रहे हैं। उनका कहना है कि नया वक्फ कानून संविधान के अनुच्छेद 14, 15 (समानता), 25 (धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता), 26 (धार्मिक मामलों का संचालन) और 29 (अल्पसंख्यक अधिकार) का उल्लंघन करता है। साथ ही, याचिकाकर्ताओं ने कहा कि इस कानून में किया गया संशोधन अनुच्छेद 300(A) – संपत्ति के अधिकार – के भी खिलाफ है।
7 अप्रैल को वरिष्ठ वकील कपिल सिब्बल, अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी और निज़ाम पाशा ने याचिकाकर्ताओं की ओर से जल्द सुनवाई की मांग की थी, लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने तत्काल सुनवाई से इनकार कर दिया। कोर्ट की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट के अनुसार सुनवाई की संभावित तारीख 15 अप्रैल है, हालांकि अभी यह तय नहीं है कि किस पीठ के समक्ष सुनवाई होगी।
