Balancing Two Worlds: A Teacher, A Journalist, and a Family Man

I spend most of my time with my family — especially with my wife Rashmi and our son Ibrahim, whom we affectionately call Tiger. Life at home is filled with warmth, laughter, and countless shared moments that make even the busiest days worthwhile. Whether it’s a family meal or cheering for Tiger during his skating competitions, these are the moments that truly matter to me.

Professionally, I wear two hats — that of a teacher and a journalist. As a teacher, I have the privilege of shaping young minds, encouraging curiosity, and guiding students not only in academics but also in building character. Teaching is more than a job — it’s a passion that allows me to give back to society.

As a journalist, I find myself immersed in the world of truth and storytelling. My work allows me to raise important questions, report real issues, and give voice to those who might otherwise go unheard. Journalism keeps me rooted in society’s realities and helps me grow as both a professional and a person.

Despite the demands of my dual professions, I always make it a priority to be present with my family. Rashmi is my strongest support system — her strength and understanding keep our world grounded. And our son Tiger, just 13 years old and already a skating champion, is our pride and joy. His energy, determination, and dreams inspire me every day.

Balancing my life as a teacher, a journalist, and a family man isn’t always easy — but it’s deeply rewarding. These three roles shape who I am. And in all of them, I find purpose, peace, and the drive to keep growing.
