रेखा गुप्ता का जन्म 19 जुलाई 1974 को हरियाणा के Jind district में हुआ था।
उनके पिता Jaibhagwan भारतीय स्टेट बैंक में मैनेजर थे, जिनकी नौकरी के चलते उनका परिवार 1976 में दिल्ली आ गया।
उन्होंने Daulat Ram College, Delhi University से B.Com किया और बाद में Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut से LL.B की डिग्री हासिल की।
2. राजनीतिक सफर (Political Career of Rekha Gupta)
रेखा गुप्ता ने राजनीति की शुरुआत ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) से की।
1994 में वह Daulat Ram College Students’ Union Secretary बनीं।
1996-97 में वह Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) President चुनी गईं।
2007 और 2012 में North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) की Councillor बनीं।
