जालना: मूव्हमेंट फॉर पीस एंड जस्टिस (M.P.J.) की “समस्या हमारी, पहल हमारी” जनअभियान पहल के अंतर्गत जालना की आरेफ कॉलोनी में वर्षों से लंबित सड़कों के निर्माण का सपना आखिरकार साकार हुआ। इस अभियान के तहत M.P.J. जालना के शहराध्यक्ष शेख रईस की अध्यक्षता में कॉलोनी के नागरिकों और नगरसेवक आशीष सामलेटी के साथ मिलकर एक निवेदन पूर्व विधायक कैलास शेठ गोरंट्याल को सौंपा गया था।
इस निवेदन में आरेफ कॉलोनी की छह गलियों और एक मुख्य सड़क को सिमेंट-कंक्रीट से निर्माण की मांग रखी गई थी, जो स्थानीय लोगों द्वारा चुनाव से पहले की गई थी। उस समय पूर्व विधायक कैलास गोरंट्याल ने यह वचन दिया था —
“चुनाव जीतूं या हारूं, मैं इस कॉलोनी की सड़क जरूर बनवाऊंगा।”
उन्होंने अपने इस वादे को निभाते हुए मई 2025 में समस्त सड़क निर्माण कार्य पूरा करवा दिया, जिससे कॉलोनी के निवासियों को बड़ी राहत मिली। इस सराहनीय कार्य के लिए M.P.J. की ओर से पूर्व विधायक का औपचारिक रूप से आभार प्रकट किया गया।
इस मौके पर कार्यक्रम में M.P.J. शहराध्यक्ष शेख रईस के साथ मतीन कुरेशी, इम्रान जागीरदार, रफीक बागवान, रिजवान बागवान, अकिल शेख, मुजीब बागवान, रवी, प्रेम, अन्वर टेलर समेत अनेक स्थानीय नागरिक उपस्थित रहे।
इस संपूर्ण पहल ने एक बार फिर यह सिद्ध कर दिया कि जब जनता संगठित होकर नेतृत्व से संवाद करती है और नेतृत्व अपने वचनों को निभाने वाला हो, तो शहरी समस्याएं भी समाधान की दिशा में बदल सकती हैं।
