Parbhani violence and death in police custody: MPJ demands high-level inquiry
मुंबई: महाराष्ट्र के परभणी में हुई हिंसा और पुलिस हिरासत में एक व्यक्ति की संदिग्ध मौत ने राज्यभर में गंभीर चिंता उत्पन्न की है। इस मामले में सामाजिक संगठन मुव्हमेंट फॉर पीस एंड जस्टिस (एमपीजे) ने राज्य सरकार से निष्पक्ष और स्वतंत्र जांच की मांग की है। संगठन ने जिलाधिकारियों के माध्यम से मुख्यमंत्री को ज्ञापन सौंपकर न्यायिक हस्तक्षेप की अपील की है।
10 दिसंबर को परभणी में बाबा साहब डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर की प्रतिमा के पास संविधान की प्रतिकृति तोड़े जाने की घटना से उपजे तनाव के कारण हिंसा भड़क उठी। इस दौरान कई लोग घायल हुए और सार्वजनिक व निजी संपत्ति को नुकसान पहुंचा। पुलिस ने मामले में कई लोगों को हिरासत में लिया, जिनमें से एक व्यक्ति, सोमनाथ सूर्यवंशी, की पुलिस हिरासत में मृत्यु हो गई।
परिवार का आरोप: पुलिस पर सवाल
मृतक सोमनाथ सूर्यवंशी के परिजनों और स्थानीय समुदाय ने आरोप लगाया है कि उनकी मौत पुलिस हिरासत में हुई है और इसमें पुलिस की भूमिका संदिग्ध है।
एमपीजे ने की निष्पक्ष जांच की मांग
एमपीजे ने सरकार से घटना की उच्च स्तरीय और निष्पक्ष जांच की अपील की है। संगठन ने कहा कि यदि जांच में किसी भी प्रकार की गड़बड़ी या अत्याचार सामने आता है, तो दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए।
संगठन ने संविधान की प्रतिकृति को नुकसान पहुंचाने के मामले की भी जांच की मांग की है, ताकि घटना के पीछे की परिस्थितियों और जिम्मेदार व्यक्तियों की पहचान की जा सके और भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाओं को रोका जा सके।
एमपीजे नेताओं के विचार
एमपीजे के महासचिव अफसर उस्मानी ने कहा, “हम सरकार से अपील करते हैं कि इस मामले में त्वरित कार्रवाई की जाए और न्याय सुनिश्चित किया जाए। साथ ही, परभणी में शांति और सौहार्द बहाल करने के लिए सभी पक्षों के साथ संवाद किया जाए।”
प्रदेश अध्यक्ष मुहम्मद सिराज ने घटना को संविधान और बाबा साहब डॉ. अंबेडकर का अपमान करार देते हुए कहा कि ऐसी घटनाएं हमारे लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों पर हमला हैं। उन्होंने कहा, “हमें शांतिपूर्ण और लोकतांत्रिक तरीके से विरोध करना चाहिए और संविधान की बंधुता के आदर्शों को नहीं भूलना चाहिए।”
संविधान के प्रति जागरूकता की अपील
एमपीजे ने सरकार से संविधान की महत्ता को लेकर व्यापक जागरूकता अभियान चलाने की भी अपील की। संगठन ने कहा कि संविधान न केवल एक कानूनी दस्तावेज है, बल्कि यह हमारे समाज के मूल्यों और आदर्शों का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है।
