Eastern and Northeastern States
Brandenburg surrounds Berlin, while Berlin is the national capital. Bremen is another city-state. The federal states also include Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, each with distinct regional attractions.
