“1500 Years of Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ: Discussion on the ‘Mercy for All’ Campaign at Islam Gymkhana Mumbai

Mumbai: The blessed birth of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ will complete 1500 years on September 5, 2025. To commemorate this historic occasion, a special meeting was organized at Islam Gymkhana, Mumbai, under the leadership of Alhaj Muhammad Saeed Noori, head of the Alami Tahreek Raza Academy.

The meeting witnessed the participation of prominent Sunni scholars and Islamic thinkers from across the country.

The special guests for the event were “Baqiyat-us-Salaf Khair-ul-Azkiya” Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Misbahi and “Siraj-ul-Fuqaha” Mufti Nizamuddin Misbahi.

The central theme of the meeting revolved around the campaign “Mercy for All” and preparations for the grand celebration of Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ.

Welcoming the scholars, Alhaj Muhammad Saeed Noori emphasized the historical importance of this occasion. He called for celebrating the 1500th year of the Prophet’s ﷺ birth in such a magnificent manner that it becomes a memorable event for generations to come. To achieve this, Raza Academy has established a “Milad Council,” aiming to spread this campaign to every corner of the country.

During the meeting, Maulana Muhammad Abbas Rizvi and Maulana Akhtar Hussain Faizi Misbahi highlighted the urgent need for Islamic colleges. They stressed the importance of such institutions to preserve Islamic education and traditions. They appealed to the community to work towards setting up Islamic colleges, particularly for girls, so they can pursue education while adhering to Islamic dress codes without fear or hesitation.

Maulana Qasim Misbahi underscored the need to propagate the teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He called on scholars to actively engage in spreading this message widely. Senior instructors from Jamia Ashrafia Mubarakpur, Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Misbahi, and Mufti Nizamuddin Misbahi, praised the efforts of Raza Academy and emphasized the importance of reaching every household with the message of “Mercy for All.”

Alhaj Muhammad Saeed Noori announced that Raza Academy would reach out to leaders of Islamic nations to make them aware of this campaign.
