After sunset, we arrived at our desert camp — traditional tents set up in the middle of nowhere, yet equipped with everything needed for a cozy night. As darkness descended, the camp lit up with lanterns, and a cultural program began around a blazing bonfire.

Local musicians and dancers performed Rajasthani folk music and Kalbelia dance, inviting everyone to join. The atmosphere was lively, yet intimate. Dinner was a spread of authentic Rajasthani dishes like dal-baati-churma, gatte ki sabzi, and ker sangri.

And then came the moment that etched itself into my memory — the desert night sky. With no city lights around, the stars seemed closer, brighter, and more magical than I had ever seen before. Lying back on the cool sand, staring at that glittering sky, I felt connected to something vast and timeless.
