30 लाख रुपये में दुर्लभ पैंगोलिन की तस्करी, वन विभाग ने दबोचा

जालना: महाराष्ट्र के वाशिम जिले में दुर्लभ वन्यजीव पैंगोलिन (खवले मांजर) की तस्करी का बड़ा मामला सामने आया है। वन विभाग की टीम ने एक गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर इस गिरोह का पर्दाफाश किया और तस्करों को रंगे हाथों पकड़ लिया।

कैसे पकड़ी गई तस्करी?

गुप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, 07 मार्च 2025 को वन विभाग को पता चला कि वाशिम जिले के एक व्यक्ति के पास पैंगोलिन है और उसकी अवैध बिक्री होने वाली है। इस पर वनपरिक्षेत्र अधिकारी के. डी. नागरगोजे (प्रा. जालना उत्तर) ने खुद को एक खरीदार के रूप में पेश कर 30 लाख रुपये में सौदा तय किया और तस्करों को जालना बुलाया।

वन विभाग की टीम ने श्रीजी होटल, मंठा चौफुली (जालना) के पास जाल बिछाया। तय समय पर SUZUKI ERTIGA (MH-43 BP-4568) में दो व्यक्ति पहुंचे और TATA PUNCH (MH-37 AD 9607) की डिक्की खोलकर दुर्लभ पैंगोलिन दिखाया।

बनावट खरीदार (वन अधिकारी) ने यह पुष्टि की कि वाहन में वन्यजीव मौजूद है। इसके बाद नजदीक खड़े वन विभाग के कर्मचारियों को इशारा किया गया और तुरंत कार्रवाई करते हुए तस्करों को धर दबोचा गया।

गिरफ्तार तस्करों की लिस्ट

जांच में ये आरोपी पकड़े गए:

1. संजय उकंडा राठौड़ (गिरोली, वाशिम)
2. सुनील नामदेव थोरात (चौडी, वसमत, हिंगोली)
3. नारायण पुजाराम अवचार (विडोळी, मंठा, जालना)
4. प्रताप गुलाबराव सरनाईक (हिवरा, रिसोड)
5. अनिल अशोक सावळे (ढोरखेडा, मालेगांव, वाशिम)
6. एकनाथ अनिल इंगळे (लाखला, वाशिम)

इसके अलावा, एक और वाहन Hyundai i20 (MH-14 BX 8737) को भी जब्त किया गया, जिसे PWD विश्रामगृह, मंठा से बरामद किया गया।

इन धाराओं में दर्ज हुआ केस

गिरफ्तार आरोपियों पर भारतीय वन्यजीव संरक्षण अधिनियम 1972 की धाराओं 9, 39, 40(2), 48A, 49, 49B, 50(1)(c), 51 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया।

इस ऑपरेशन का नेतृत्व सहायक वनसंरक्षक सु.न. मुंढे (रोहयो व वन्यजीव, जालना) ने किया। उनके साथ वनपरिक्षेत्र अधिकारी के. डी. नागरगोजे (जालना उत्तर), व्ही. एम. दौंड (जालना दक्षिण), आर. डी. दुनगहु (बदनापुर), वाय. एम. डोमळे (भोकरदन), वी. पी. अवचार (मंठा), बी. एम. पाटील (अंबड) सहित कई अन्य वन अधिकारी और कर्मचारी मौजूद रहे।

बड़ी तस्करी का पर्दाफाश

वन्यजीव संरक्षण के लिहाज से यह कार्रवाई बेहद महत्वपूर्ण मानी जा रही है। पैंगोलिन एक दुर्लभ और संरक्षित प्रजाति का वन्यजीव है, जिसकी अवैध तस्करी बड़े पैमाने पर की जाती है।

इसके शरीर से निकलने वाले कड़े शल्कों (स्केल्स) की अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में भारी मांग है, जिसे पारंपरिक चिकित्सा और आभूषणों में इस्तेमाल किया जाता है। इसी कारण, यह जीव शिकारियों के निशाने पर रहता है।

वन विभाग की इस बड़ी कार्रवाई से न केवल संगठित तस्करी गिरोह का पर्दाफाश हुआ, बल्कि वन्यजीव संरक्षण के लिए भी एक कड़ा संदेश गया है।
