जालना: भोकरदन में शुक्रवार की दोपहर एक महिला चोर ने भीड़भाड़ वाले बस स्टैंड पर ऐसी दुस्साहसी हरकत कर डाली, जिसने सबको चौंका दिया। उसने महज़ 2 साल की मासूम बच्ची के पांव से चांदी का कड़ा और उसकी दादी के गले से सोने की पोत झपट ली और भागने की कोशिश की। लेकिन पुलिस की मुस्तैदी ने उसे ज्यादा दूर नहीं जाने दिया — कुछ ही मिनटों में घेराबंदी कर उसे धर दबोचा गया। पुलिस ने कुल ₹97,000 के चोरी हुए आभूषण बरामद कर लिए और आरोपी महिला को सलाखों के पीछे पहुंचा दिया।
यह घटना मौजे दगडवाडी की रहने वाली 45 वर्षीय शकुंतला मुंकुदा तांबडे के साथ घटी, जो अपनी 2 वर्षीय नातिन अनन्या महाकाल के साथ कपड़े की खरीदारी के बाद घर लौटने के लिए बस स्टैंड पर पहुंची थीं।
भीड़ का फायदा उठाते हुए, आरोपी महिला रेखा दीपक शिंदे (उम्र 20 वर्ष), निवासी पुखराज नगर, तहसील भोकरदन, ने मासूम बच्ची के दाहिने पैर से ₹2,000 मूल्य का चांदी का गोलाकार कड़ा और शकुंतला तांबडे के गले से एक तोले की पोत (जिसमें दो-दो ग्राम वजन के दो डोरले और 6 ग्राम वजन के कुल 40 सोने के मणी शामिल थे) जबरदस्ती छीनकर फरार होने की कोशिश की।
घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही प्रभारी अधिकारी पुलिस निरीक्षक किरण बिडवे ने तत्काल कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिए। बीट अधिकारी प्रशांत उबाले के नेतृत्व में महिला पुलिस अधिकारी सिमा देठे, कल्पना पवार, दीपाली सपकाल और अन्य पुलिसकर्मी मौके पर पहुंचे और संदिग्ध महिला को भागते हुए देखकर पीछा कर पकड़ा। महिला की तलाशी पंचों की उपस्थिति में ली गई, जिसमें चोरी किए गए सभी जेवर बरामद हुए।
पुलिस ने आरोपी से ₹2,000 की चांदी की कड़ी और ₹95,000 मूल्य की सोने की पोत बरामद की, जिसकी कुल कीमत ₹97,000 आंकी गई है। बरामद आभूषण पीड़िता को लौटा दिए गए हैं। इस मामले में पुलिस थाने में अपराध क्रमांक दर्ज किया गया है और जांच अधिकारी प्रशांत उबाले द्वारा जांच की जा रही है।
