जालना में मूसलाधार बारिश का कहर: कोठारी नगर जलमग्न, विधायक अर्जुन खोतकर ने घुटनों तक पानी में उतरकर लिया हालात का जायजा
जिले में हुई मूसलाधार बारिश ने जनजीवन अस्त-व्यस्त कर दिया है। कोठारी नगर पूरी तरह जलमग्न हो गया है और कई घरों में पानी घुसने से नागरिक बेहाल हैं।
स्थिति की गंभीरता को देखते हुए विधायक अर्जुन खोतकर, महापालिका आयुक्त संतोष खांडेकर और शिवसेना शहर प्रमुख विष्णु पाचफुले स्वयं पानी में उतरकर हालात का जायजा लेने पहुंचे। इस दौरान विधायक खोतकर ने महापालिका प्रशासन को तत्काल राहत और जल निकासी कार्य शुरू करने के सख्त निर्देश दिए।
बारिश के चलते कई नागरिकों के घरों में घरेलू सामान खराब हो गया, जिससे लोगों को भारी आर्थिक व भावनात्मक नुकसान झेलना पड़ा। परेशान नागरिकों ने मौके पर अपनी समस्याएँ विधायक के समक्ष रखीं। खोतकर ने भरोसा दिलाया कि प्रशासन पूरी तत्परता से जल निकासी कार्य करेगा और पीड़ितों की हरसंभव मदद की जाएगी।
मुख्य निर्देश: कोठारी नगर की ओर आने वाले पानी को रोकने एवं तुरंत निकासी सुनिश्चित करने के लिए तात्कालिक उपाय किए जाएं; साथ ही भविष्य में ऐसे हालात से बचने हेतु ठोस स्थायी कदम उठाए जाएँ।
सूत्रों के अनुसार, शिवसेना विभाग प्रमुख मनोज लाखोले ने सर्वप्रथम फोन पर स्थिति की जानकारी विधायक को दी थी। सूचना मिलते ही विधायक तुरंत कोठारी नगर पहुंचे और बाद में मोंढा क्षेत्र का भी दौरा किया। निरीक्षण के दौरान खोतकर ने स्वयं राहत कार्यों की निगरानी की और नागरिकों की शिकायतें सुनीं।

विधायक के दौरे से स्थानीय नागरिकों में राहत की भावना दिखाई दी। प्रशासन को कड़े निर्देश दिए गए कि न केवल पानी की निकासी तत्काल सुनिश्चित की जाए, बल्कि भविष्य में ऐसी स्थिति से बचने के लिए ठोस और स्थायी उपाय भी किए जाएँ।
