जालना महापालिका अधिकारियों ने कुंडलिका-सीना नदी का निरीक्षण किया — 15 दिन में अतिक्रमण हटाने का आश्वासन
जालना: जालना शहर की जीवनदायिनी कुंडलिका और सीना नदियों में हुए अतिक्रमण को लेकर जारी सामाजिक आंदोलन के बीच आज जालना महानगरपालिका के अधिकारियों ने नदी पात्र का स्थल निरीक्षण किया।
सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा चलाए जा रहे सामूहिक उपोषण के दौरान नगर निगम के अधिकारी मौके पर पहुंचे और उन्होंने नदी में हुए अतिक्रमण की स्थिति का जायजा लिया। इस अवसर पर महानगरपालिका की सहायक आयुक्त सुप्रिया चव्हाण ने आंदोलनकारियों को आश्वस्त किया कि अगले 15 दिनों के भीतर नदी क्षेत्र से सभी अतिक्रमण हटा दिए जाएंगे।
सहायक आयुक्त सुप्रिया चव्हाण ने कहा:
“अतिक्रमण बड़ी मात्रा में हुआ है, इसलिए इसे हटाने में समय लग रहा है, लेकिन नगर निगम अब पूरी जिम्मेदारी से यह कार्य करेगा। 15 दिनों की अवधि में सभी अतिक्रमण हटा दिए जाएंगे।”
“अतिक्रमण बड़ी मात्रा में हुआ है, इसलिए इसे हटाने में समय लग रहा है, लेकिन नगर निगम अब पूरी जिम्मेदारी से यह कार्य करेगा। 15 दिनों की अवधि में सभी अतिक्रमण हटा दिए जाएंगे।”
उन्होंने यह भी स्वीकार किया कि अतिक्रमण हटाने में प्रशासन की ओर से देरी हुई है और इस संबंध में उन्होंने उपोषणकर्ताओं से क्षमा भी मांगी।
सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं ने इस आश्वासन का स्वागत किया, लेकिन साथ ही यह भी स्पष्ट कर दिया कि यदि तय समयसीमा में कार्रवाई नहीं हुई, तो आंदोलन को और तेज किया जाएगा।
