WASHINGTON: The United States and China have released reciprocal lists of products worth about $30 billion each that will receive tariff reductions following recent discussions between the two governments.

The Associated Press reported that the measures cover selected nonsensitive products. The lists follow a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The tariff changes are part of broader efforts by the world’s two largest economies to manage trade tensions while maintaining access to important goods and markets.
