What is your favorite season of year? Why?
🌧️ My Favourite Season – The Rainy Season 🌧️
Everyone has a favourite season—some love the bright sunshine of summer, others prefer the chill of winter. But for me, nothing compares to the rainy season. There’s something magical about the sound of raindrops hitting the rooftop, the fresh earthy smell after the first rain, and the cool breeze that brings a wave of comfort. That’s why the rainy season is, without a doubt, my favourite time of the year.
☔ A Break from the Heat
After the long, exhausting days of summer, the arrival of rain feels like a blessing. The temperature drops, and nature begins to breathe again. I love watching the dark clouds gather and the sky turn dramatic just before a downpour. It’s a beautiful reminder of how powerful and refreshing nature can be.
🌿 Nature at Its Best
One of the reasons I love the rainy season so much is because everything around me becomes more alive. Trees and plants turn greener, flowers bloom, and even the air smells different—so clean and pure. I often sit by the window with a hot cup of tea, just admiring the beauty of the rain-washed world outside.
📚 Perfect Time for Comfort & Creativity
Rainy days are also the perfect excuse to stay indoors, curl up with a good book, or listen to soft music. I find the rain very calming—it helps me think more deeply and often inspires me to write or draw. There’s a kind of peace in the rhythm of the rain that I don’t feel during other seasons.
🌧️ Childhood Memories
Rain always takes me back to my childhood. I remember splashing in puddles, making paper boats, and watching them float away. I also remember getting soaked on the way back from school, laughing with friends, and rushing home to change into dry clothes. These little memories make the rainy season feel even more special.
🌈 A Season Full of Emotions
For me, the rainy season brings a mix of emotions—joy, peace, nostalgia, and sometimes even a little sadness. But that’s what makes it beautiful. It reminds me to slow down, breathe, and appreciate the little things in life.
Conclusion
While every season has its own charm, the rainy season has a special place in my heart. It’s more than just a change in weather—it’s a feeling, a mood, and a reminder of the simple joys of life. So, whenever the sky turns grey and the first drop falls, I smile—because my favourite season has arrived.
