Jalna Municipal Corporation takes action on sale of banned plastic
जालना शहर में प्रतिबंधित प्लास्टिक की बिक्री करने वाले गायत्री प्लास्टिक जनरल स्टोर पर नगर निगम ने कड़ी कार्रवाई की है। केंद्र सरकार ने 2022 में सिंगल-यूज़ प्लास्टिक पर प्रतिबंध लगाया था। इसके बावजूद शहर में प्लास्टिक कैरीबैग और प्लास्टिक ग्लास की बिक्री जारी थी।
नगर निगम ने इस मामले में कई बार नोटिस जारी किए, लेकिन इसे नजरअंदाज किया गया। सोमवार, 23 दिसंबर को दोपहर करीब 1 बजे नगर निगम की टीम ने बाजार स्थित गायत्री प्लास्टिक जनरल स्टोर पर छापा मारा। जांच के दौरान बड़ी मात्रा में प्रतिबंधित प्लास्टिक बरामद हुआ।
इस कार्रवाई में 650 किलो प्रतिबंधित प्लास्टिक जब्त किया गया और स्टोर मालिक पर ₹10,000 (दस हजार रुपये) का जुर्माना लगाया गया।
नगर निगम की इस कार्रवाई का नेतृत्व सहायक आयुक्त सुप्रिया चव्हाण ने किया। उनके साथ स्वच्छता निरीक्षक शोएब खान, लोंढे, दिलीप हिवाले, और दीपक हिवाले सहित अन्य कर्मचारियों ने इस कार्रवाई को अंजाम दिया।
नगर निगम ने साफ शब्दों में कहा है कि अगर कोई प्रतिबंधित प्लास्टिक की बिक्री करता पाया गया, तो उसके खिलाफ सख्त कदम उठाए जाएंगे।
