France Says EU Could Use Google Fines to Reduce Member Contributions

France has proposed that the European Union use proceeds from Google fines to reduce member states’ contributions to the EU budget.

France’s Europe Minister Benjamin Haddad said the billions collected through regulatory penalties could be redirected within the European budget framework.
