Jalna:आज के दौर में महिला सशक्तिकरण (Women Empowerment) और स्वच्छता (Hygiene) दो महत्वपूर्ण विषय हैं, जो समाज में जागरूकता और प्रगति के प्रतीक बन चुके हैं। इसी दिशा में जालना महानगरपालिका (Jalna Municipal Corporation) ने बिल एंड मेलिंडा गेट्स फाउंडेशन (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation) के सहयोग से ‘उजास’ ग्रीन क्लॉथ पैड मैन्युफैक्चरिंग यूनिट (Ujas Green Cloth Pad Manufacturing Unit) शुरू की थी। इस सस्टेनेबल डेवलपमेंट (Sustainable Development) प्रोजेक्ट ने अपने पहले ही साल में जबरदस्त सफलता हासिल की है।
₹43 लाख की कमाई, महिलाओं (Women Entrepreneurs) के जीवन में बड़ा बदलाव<br />
महानगरपालिका आयुक्त संतोष खांडेकर (Santosh Khandekar) के अनुसार, इस परियोजना से बचत समूहों (Self Help Groups – SHGs) को अब तक ₹43,06,050 की आय (Revenue Generation) हुई है। यह सिर्फ एक कमाई का आंकड़ा नहीं, बल्कि उन सैकड़ों महिलाओं के जीवन में आर्थिक स्थिरता (Financial Stability) और आत्मनिर्भरता (Self-Reliance) की ओर बढ़ाया गया मजबूत कदम है।
इस Women-Led Business Model में महिलाओं ने 49,213 उच्च गुणवत्ता वाले सैनिटरी पैड (Sanitary Pads Manufacturing) बनाए, जिससे उन्हें अच्छी आमदनी हुई। साथ ही, समाज में Menstrual Hygiene Awareness को बढ़ावा देने के लिए बड़े स्तर पर प्रयास किए गए।

‘उजास’ प्रोजेक्ट (Ujas Project) न सिर्फ एक बिजनेस इनिशिएटिव (Business Initiative) है, बल्कि यह मासिक धर्म से जुड़ी भ्रांतियों (Menstrual Myths) को दूर करने का भी एक बेहतरीन माध्यम बन रहा है। इस पहल के तहत:

✅ 439 जागरूकता सत्र (Awareness Sessions) आयोजित किए गए

महिला सशक्तिकरण को और मजबूती देने के लिए जालना महानगरपालिका (Jalna Municipal Corporation) ने घोषणा की है कि वह ‘उजास’ द्वारा निर्मित 50% सैनिटरी पैड (Sanitary Pads Procurement) खरीदेगी। इससे न केवल इस Women-Led Startup को आर्थिक मजबूती मिलेगी, बल्कि समाज में Menstrual Health & Hygiene Awareness को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
‘उजास’ बना महिलाओं की जिंदगी संवारने का जरिया (Transforming Women’s Lives)
इस प्रोजेक्ट की संस्थापिका अद्वैतेशा बिर्ला (Adwaitesha Birla) ने कहा, “यह सिर्फ एक प्रोजेक्ट नहीं, बल्कि महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर (Self-Dependent) बनाने और स्वच्छता (Hygiene) से जुड़े मिथकों (Myths) को तोड़ने की क्रांति है।”
