Noun यानी किसी भी व्यक्ति, स्थान, वस्तु या भाव का नाम बताने वाले शब्द को कहते हैं। Noun को हिंदी में संज्ञा कहा जाता है।
Noun के प्रकार (Types of Noun)
- Proper Noun — किसी विशेष व्यक्ति या स्थान का नाम (जैसे — Ram, Delhi)
- Common Noun — सामान्य नाम (जैसे — Boy, City)
- Collective Noun — समूह या टोली बताने वाला नाम (जैसे — Army, Team)
- Abstract Noun — भाव, गुण या अवस्था बताने वाला नाम (जैसे — Honesty, Bravery)
- Countable Noun — गिनती में आने वाले नाम (जैसे — Books, Pens)
- Uncountable Noun — गिनती में न आने वाले नाम (जैसे — Water, Sugar)
Important Rules of Noun
- Proper Noun हमेशा Capital Letter से शुरू होता है।
- Uncountable Noun के साथ ‘a’ या ‘an’ नहीं लगता।
- Collective Noun के लिए Singular Verb लगती है।
- Plural Noun में हमेशा ‘s’ या ‘es’ जोड़ा जाता है।
