The UK Competition and Markets Authority has proposed a package of remedies for competition concerns surrounding the Co-op Group’s acquisition of Southern Co-op.

GOV.UK said the undertakings offered by Co-op Group could address concerns identified by the competition regulator.

The proposal will go through the CMA’s regulatory process before any final decision.
