Reuters reported that President Donald Trump denied offering Iran sanctions relief, while Iranian officials said Tehran remains open to negotiations. Mediators are working on proposals that could include reopening the Strait and subsequent changes to sanctions.

U.S. officials have emphasized that nuclear issues remain part of any potential agreement. The diplomatic process remains unresolved.
