Oura Delays US IPO Citing Market Uncertainty

NEW YORK: Smart ring maker Oura has postponed its planned initial public offering in the United States, citing market uncertainty despite what the company described as strong demand.

Associated Press reported that Oura announced the delay on Tuesday. The company had been preparing to become a publicly traded wearable-technology business.

The decision comes as financial markets face higher bond yields, elevated oil prices and uncertainty over the economic outlook.
