जालना में वर्षों से खड़े 1,352 लावारिस वाहन होंगे नीलाम, पुलिस ने जारी की चेतावनी
जालना/प्रतिनिधि: यातायात उल्लंघन, आपराधिक घटनाएं और दुर्घटनाओं में जब्त किए गए वाहन अब जालना जिले के पुलिस थानों पर बोझ बन चुके हैं। जिले के 19 पुलिस थानों में वर्षों से खड़े 1,352 दोपहिया व चारपहिया वाहन अब जर्जर हो चुके हैं, और कई के कलपुर्जे भी गायब हो चुके हैं।
पुलिस ने लिया बड़ा फैसला, होगी कानूनी नीलामी
वाहन मालिकों को बार-बार सूचना देने के बावजूद जब कोई सामने नहीं आया, तो पुलिस प्रशासन ने इन वाहनों की नीलामी प्रक्रिया शुरू करनेRTO नंबर व चेसीस नंबर सहित सूची प्रकाशित की गई है।
पुलिस की ओर से अपील की गई है कि वाहन मालिक आवश्यक दस्तावेजों के साथ थाने पहुंचें और अपने वाहन को शीघ्र ले जाएं।
समय सीमा के बाद नहीं मिलेगा मौका
यदि निर्धारित अवधि के भीतर कोई वाहन मालिक सामने नहीं आया, तो पुलिस प्रशासन वाहनों को लावारिस घोषित कर उन्हें भंगार में नीलाम करेगा।
थानों में बन रहे कबाड़खाने
पुलिस सूत्रों के अनुसार, कई मालिक बीमा राशि प्राप्त कर लेने के बाद वाहन लेने में रुचि नहीं दिखाते। वहीं, कुछ मामलों में जुर्माना वाहन की कीमत से अधिक हो जाता है, जिससे वाहन थानों में ही सड़ते रहते हैं। आपराधिक गतिविधियों और हादसों में जब्त वाहन भी वर्षों से पड़े हुए हैं।
100 दिनी विशेष पुलिस कार्य योजना का हिस्सा
राज्य सरकार की ओर से जारी 100 दिनी अभियान के अंतर्गत पुलिस ने थानों की स्वच्छता, अपराध निपटान, समन वितरण जैसे कार्यों को तय समय में पूर्ण करने की योजना बनाई है। लावारिस वाहनों की नीलामी भी इस अभियान का एक प्रमुख हिस्सा है।
