The Election Commission has extended the deadline for claims, suggestions and objections to Maharashtra’s draft electoral rolls from September 30 to October 12.
The extension also changes the schedule for notices involving 1.22 crore electors. The ECI said missing names in the draft roll can still be addressed through the prescribed process.
