जालना महानगरपालिका को मिली पहली महिला महापौर, वंदना मगरे निर्विरोध निर्वाचित

जालना शहर महानगरपालिका के राजनीतिक इतिहास में एक महत्वपूर्ण और ऐतिहासिक क्षण जुड़ गया है। भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भारतीय जनता पार्टी) की श्रीमती वंदना अरुण मगरे का महापौर पद पर निर्विरोध चयन हुआ है, जबकि राजेश रामभाऊ राऊत को उपमहापौर पद के लिए निर्विरोध निर्वाचित घोषित किया गया है। खास बात यह है कि दोनों पदों का कार्यकाल 15–15 महीनों में विभाजित रहेगा, जिस पर पार्टी नेतृत्व की बैठक में सर्वसम्मति से निर्णय लिया गया।
वंदना मगरे को जालना महानगरपालिका की पहली महिला महापौर बनने का गौरव प्राप्त हुआ है, जिसे भाजपा संगठन के लिए एक ऐतिहासिक उपलब्धि माना जा रहा है।
नामांकन के बाद निर्विरोध चुनाव
महापौर और उपमहापौर पदों के लिए शुक्रवार को नामांकन दाखिल करने की अंतिम तिथि थी। निर्धारित समय तक महापौर पद के लिए केवल वंदना मगरे और उपमहापौर पद के लिए केवल राजेश राऊत का ही नामांकन प्राप्त हुआ। किसी अन्य उम्मीदवार के मैदान में न उतरने के कारण दोनों पदों पर चुनाव निर्विरोध संपन्न हो गया।
भाजपा को स्पष्ट बहुमत
हाल ही में संपन्न जालना महानगरपालिका चुनाव में भाजपा ने कुल 65 में से 41 सीटों पर विजय हासिल कर स्पष्ट बहुमत प्राप्त किया था। इसके बाद यह तय माना जा रहा था कि महापौर और उपमहापौर—दोनों पदों पर भाजपा का ही कब्जा रहेगा।
महापौर पद अनुसूचित जाति (महिला) के लिए आरक्षित होने के कारण पार्टी के भीतर कुछ दावेदार जरूर थे, लेकिन पार्टी नेतृत्व ने अनुशासन और एकजुटता का परिचय देते हुए वंदना मगरे के नाम पर सर्वसम्मति बनाई।
वरिष्ठ नेताओं की मौजूदगी में हुआ निर्णय
महापौर और उपमहापौर पदों के लिए उम्मीदवारों के चयन को लेकर जालना में एक महत्वपूर्ण बैठक आयोजित की गई। यह बैठक महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस के साथ पूर्व चर्चा के अनुरूप तथा राज्य के महसूल मंत्री एवं मनपा चुनाव प्रभारी चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे और भाजपा प्रदेशाध्यक्ष रविंद्र चव्हाण के मार्गदर्शन में हुई।
बैठक की अध्यक्षता भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता एवं पूर्व केंद्रीय रेल राज्यमंत्री रावसाहेब पाटील दानवे ने की।
इस दौरान पूर्व मंत्री बबनराव लोणीकर, भाजपा जालना जिलाध्यक्ष विधायक नारायण कुचे, पंचायत राज समिति प्रमुख संतोष पाटील दानवे, पूर्व विधायक एवं मनपा चुनाव प्रचार प्रमुख कैलाश गोरंट्याल तथा भाजपा जालना महानगर अध्यक्ष भास्करराव पाटील दानवे प्रमुख रूप से उपस्थित रहे।
15–15 महीनों का कार्यकाल तय
बैठक में यह भी स्पष्ट किया गया कि महापौर और उपमहापौर—दोनों पदों का कार्यकाल 15–15 महीनों में विभाजित रहेगा। प्रथम चरण के लिए वंदना मगरे (महापौर) और राजेश राऊत (उपमहापौर) के नामों पर सर्वसम्मति से मुहर लगाई गई।
भाजपा का विकास का दावा
पूर्व विधायक कैलाश गोरंट्याल ने कहा कि जिस प्रकार जालना महानगरपालिका में भाजपा ने ऐतिहासिक जीत दर्ज की है, उसी तर्ज पर आने वाले समय में जिला परिषद में भी भाजपा सफलता हासिल करेगी। उन्होंने भरोसा दिलाया कि जालना शहर के विकास के लिए निधियों की कोई कमी नहीं होने दी जाएगी और नागरिक सुविधाओं को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर सुदृढ़ किया जाएगा।
इस फैसले के साथ ही जालना महानगरपालिका की आगामी प्रशासनिक दिशा स्पष्ट हो गई है और इसे भाजपा संगठन के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण राजनीतिक उपलब्धि के रूप में देखा जा रहा है।
