“आई लव मोहम्मद” प्रकरण: कानपुर पुलिस कार्रवाई के खिलाफ जालना में मुस्लिम समाज का विरोध, युवकों की रिहाई की मांग
कानपुर में “आई लव मोहम्मद” लिखे बैनर पर दर्ज एफआईआर के विरोध में जालना में मुस्लिम समाज ने तीव्र प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त की। शुक्रवार को दोपहर बाद समाज के प्रतिनिधि मंडल ने जिलाधिकारी के माध्यम से राष्ट्रीय अल्पसंख्याक आयोग को ज्ञापन सौंपते हुए कानपुर पुलिस की कार्रवाई को अनुचित और असंवैधानिक करार दिया।
ज्ञापन में कहा गया कि ईद-ए-मिलादुन्नबी के अवसर पर कानपुर में मुस्लिम समाज ने शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से जुलूस और सजावट की थी। इस दौरान बैनरों पर “आई लव मोहम्मद” लिखा गया था। पूरे कार्यक्रम में कहीं भी हिंसा या गैरकानूनी गतिविधि नहीं हुई, फिर भी पुलिस ने बड़ी संख्या में मुस्लिम युवकों के खिलाफ एफआईआर दर्ज की और गिरफ्तारियां कीं।
मुस्लिम समाज ने इस कार्रवाई को संविधान के अनुच्छेद 14, 19 और 25 का उल्लंघन बताया और कहा कि अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय को जानबूझकर निशाना बनाया जा रहा है। इससे समाज में भय और असुरक्षा की भावना पैदा हो रही है तथा धार्मिक भावनाओं को अपराध का रूप देने का प्रयास हो रहा है।
ज्ञापन में रखी गई मुख्य मांगें:
- सभी झूठे एफआईआर तत्काल निरस्त किए जाएं।
- दोषी पुलिस अधिकारियों पर सख्त कार्रवाई की जाए।
- राष्ट्रीय अल्पसंख्याक आयोग सभी राज्यों को निर्देश दे कि अल्पसंख्यक समाज की धार्मिक अभिव्यक्ति का दमन न किया जाए।
प्रतिनिधि मंडल ने कहा कि यदि इस मामले में शीघ्र हस्तक्षेप न हुआ तो इसे संविधान की धर्मनिरपेक्ष संरचना पर सीधा आघात माना जाएगा। आयोग से इस प्रकरण में तत्काल कार्रवाई करने की मांग की गई है।
