वनडे क्रिकेट में बड़ा बदलाव! खत्म हो सकता है दो नई गेंदों का नियम — गेंदबाजों को मिलेगा रिवर्स स्विंग का नया हथियार
नई दिल्ली | स्पोर्ट्स डेस्क : अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट परिषद (ICC) वनडे क्रिकेट के नियमों में बड़ा बदलाव करने की तैयारी में है। रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, ICC की क्रिकेट कमेटी ने वनडे फॉर्मेट से दो नई गेंदों के नियम को समाप्त करने की सिफारिश की है।
क्या है नया प्रस्ताव?
नए नियम के तहत अब गेंदबाजी कर रही टीम पारी की शुरुआत तो दो नई गेंदों से करेगी, लेकिन 25 ओवर के बाद उसे किसी एक गेंद को चुनना होगा। फिर पारी के शेष ओवर उसी एक गेंद से फेंके जाएंगे।
बल्लेबाजों की मुश्किलें बढ़ेंगी
अगर यह नियम लागू होता है तो डेथ ओवर्स में बल्लेबाजों की परेशानी बढ़ सकती है। क्योंकि गेंद पुरानी होने से रिवर्स स्विंग का मौका बढ़ जाएगा। ऐसे में बड़े शॉट लगाना मुश्किल हो सकता है।
सलाइवा का मुद्दा भी चर्चा में
गेंद को रिवर्स स्विंग कराने में सलाइवा (थूक) का अहम रोल होता है। हालांकि आईपीएल में इसके इस्तेमाल की अनुमति है, लेकिन ICC ने अब तक इसे मंजूरी नहीं दी है। देखना दिलचस्प होगा कि ICC चीफ जय शाह इस पर क्या फैसला लेते हैं।
दो नई गेंद के नियम का विरोध
महान बल्लेबाज सचिन तेंदुलकर पहले से ही इस नियम के खिलाफ हैं। उन्होंने इसे ‘आपदा की रेसिपी’ बताया था। उनका कहना था कि दो नई गेंदों की वजह से रिवर्स स्विंग जैसी कला खत्म हो गई है। तेज गेंदबाज ब्रेट ली भी सचिन के इस तर्क का समर्थन कर चुके हैं।
क्यों लाया जा रहा यह नया नियम?
सौरव गांगुली की अध्यक्षता वाली ICC क्रिकेट कमेटी ने अपने होमवर्क के बाद यह प्रस्ताव दिया है। उनका मानना है कि गेंद और बल्ले के बीच संतुलन बनाना जरूरी है। अगर यह नियम लागू होता है तो गेंद अधिकतम 37-38 ओवर तक ही इस्तेमाल होगी।
ICC की बैठक में होगी चर्चा
इस सिफारिश पर जिम्बाब्वे में चल रही ICC बैठक में चर्चा होनी तय है। अगर मंजूरी मिलती है तो आने वाले वनडे मुकाबलों में इसका असर साफ नजर आएगा।
