HANGZHOU, September 29, 2026: Alibaba Group has identified AI models, AI chips and cloud infrastructure as three long-term priorities for its artificial-intelligence strategy, according to reporting on the company’s 2026 Apsara Conference.
Alibaba CEO Eddie Wu Yongming said the company plans sustained investment across the three areas as demand for machine intelligence requires larger computing and cloud infrastructure.
