Farmers should verify whether the product is authorised for the intended use and should follow official instructions. If essential information is missing from a listing, buyers should seek clarification before purchasing or using the product.
In the CCPA proceedings, the Agriculture Department raised concerns about the regulatory status and disclosure of the product marketed as Cyclosinone Herbicide. The CCPA subsequently ordered the platforms to discontinue the relevant sale and advertising and conduct self-audits.
