Asian Games 2026: After making history in the women’s individual trap event, Neeru Dhanda returns to the shooting range for the mixed team trap competition at Aichi-Nagoya.

Dhanda became the first Indian woman to win individual Asian Games gold in trap, producing the landmark result despite difficult weather conditions. She had also been part of India’s trap team that won silver.

Her mixed-team appearance gives India another opportunity in shooting, one of the country’s major medal-producing sports at these Games. The competition will depend on qualification results before the final stage.
