Asian Games 2026 Day 7: India’s Full Schedule, Medal Events and Key Matches on September 25

Nagoya: September 25 is another packed day for India at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026, with medal opportunities in shooting, canoe sprint, weightlifting and athletics, along with major knockout matches in kabaddi, table tennis, squash, fencing, boxing and other sports.

Key medal events for India

  • Shooting: India’s men compete in the 50m rifle 3 positions team and individual events.
  • Canoe sprint: Indian crews compete in kayak and canoe events.
  • Weightlifting: Nirupama Devi competes in the women’s 61kg final.
  • Athletics: Indian athletes feature in shot put, pole vault, men’s 10,000m and hammer throw medal events.

Kabaddi semifinals

India’s men’s and women’s kabaddi teams enter the semifinal stage after unbeaten group campaigns. The men’s side is scheduled to face Thailand, while the women’s side faces Nepal.

Table tennis medal opportunity

Manush Shah and Diya Chitale have already assured India of a mixed doubles medal after reaching the semifinals. They face China’s Sun Yingsha and Wang Chuqin in the last four.

India also has competitors in badminton, swimming, fencing, boxing, squash, surfing, equestrian, esports and other disciplines throughout the day.
