जालना: मंगलबाजार में गोमांस बिक्री पर पुलिस की छापेमारी, 300 किलो मांस बरामद
जालना/प्रतिनिधि: शहर के मंगलबाजार क्षेत्र में खुलेआम गोमांस बेचे जाने की सूचना पर सदर बाजार पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई की। पुलिस उपनिरीक्षक सचिन सानप के नेतृत्व में सोमवार दोपहर चलाये गये अभियान में लगभग 300 किलो गोमांस जब्त किया गया।
पुलिस के मुताबिक, मंगलबाजार में फेरोज शेखलाल कुरैशी अपने दुकान पर गोवंश का मांस बेच रहा था। सूचना मिलने के बाद पुलिस निरीक्षक संदीप भारती के मार्गदर्शन में उपनिरीक्षक सचिन सानप और उनकी टीम ने छापेमारी कर कार्रवाई की।
कार्रवाई के दौरान पुलिस ने लगभग ₹60,000 मूल्य का गोमांस, एक लोहे की कुल्हाड़ी तथा एक चाकू सहित कुल मिलाकर ₹62,600 मूल्य का सामान जब्त किया।
कानूनी कार्रवाई और आगे की जांच
फेरोज कुरैशी के विरुद्ध भारतीय दंड संहिता और महाराष्ट्र पशु संरक्षण (संशोधन) अधिनियम-1995 की संबंधित धाराओं के अंतर्गत सदर बाजार पुलिस थाने में मामला दर्ज किया गया है। प्राथमिक जाँच और आगे की कवायद महिला पुलिस कर्मी मगरे द्वारा की जा रही है।
