Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have confirmed a Godzilla crossover for Apex Legends, with the limited-time event scheduled to run from 10 November to 1 December 2026. Announced on 5 November, the event brings the giant monster into the game’s Storm Point setting and changes the island’s environment for the duration of the promotion.
The collaboration is built around a simple premise: Godzilla cannot be defeated in the event. Instead, players will have to contend with the destruction left behind as the monster looms over the map. The crossover is also timed with the theatrical release of Godzilla Minus Zero, according to EA’s announcement.
Storm Point becomes the centre of the crossover
EA’s event description says Storm Point will show visible signs of Godzilla’s rampage, including damaged buildings, burnt trees and fallen signs. The monster will remain a presence above the map, turning familiar locations into a more dramatic event environment.
That environmental change is the main feature of the collaboration. Rather than presenting the crossover only as a collection of character outfits, Respawn is using the map itself to give the event a distinct identity. The studio’s announcement describes the experience as a survival encounter, with the monster’s arrival shaping how the island looks and feels.
The event runs for three weeks, giving players a defined window to see the themed version of Storm Point before the map returns to its regular presentation. EA has not published a separate India-specific start time in the announcement checked for this report.
Ten Legend skins draw from the Godzilla universe
The collaboration also adds ten character outfits inspired by different entries in the Godzilla franchise. EA’s list includes Bloodhound as Godzilla 2026, Valkyrie as Mothra 2003, Wraith as Godzilla 2016 and Pathfinder as Mechagodzilla 1974. Other designs reference Destoroyah, SpaceGodzilla, Godzilla 1995, Super Mechagodzilla and Ghidorah, while Octane receives a Jet Jaguar-themed outfit.
The event pass separates its rewards into free and premium tracks. EA lists the Jet Jaguar Octane outfit among the free-track rewards, alongside badges, trackers, crafting materials and experience points. The premium track adds further themed cosmetics. The announcement does not provide an India-specific rupee price for the premium content.
Twitch rewards and supported platforms
EA has also scheduled a Twitch Drops campaign from 10 to 17 November with selected creators. The company says the campaign will offer additional Godzilla-themed cosmetic rewards, although eligibility is tied to participating streams and an appropriately linked EA account.
The official announcement lists PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC as supported platforms. On PC, the game is available through the EA app, Epic Games Store and Steam. EA notes that an internet connection and an EA account are required, and that platform account or subscription requirements may apply.
What Indian players should know
The event is confirmed as a global Apex Legends update, but EA’s announcement does not list a separate Indian release window or local pricing for premium rewards. Indian players should therefore treat 10 November to 1 December as the published event dates and check the in-game event notice for any region-specific timing once the update is available.
The crossover gives Apex Legends a sizeable pop-culture theme for November, combining a map-wide monster appearance with a broad set of character cosmetics. Its most important confirmed detail is the event window: the Godzilla takeover begins on 10 November and ends on 1 December 2026.
