JALNA:
To boost investment and create new employment opportunities in the region, the Industrial Summit 2026 will be held at Hotel Siddharth Fern in Jalna on September 3.
The summit is being organised jointly by Jalna First and the district administration. Jalna First president Govind Goyal announced the event at a press conference held at Kalika Steel on Saturday. Industrialists Rahul Agarwal, Shubham Soni and Ayush Bansal were present.
Goyal said around 250 industrialists from across the country are expected to participate in the summit. He said the recently launched Dry Port (Multi-Modal Logistics Park) in Jalna and the emerging silk industry could play an important role in attracting new investors and generating employment.
The summit will focus on investment and development opportunities in sectors including steel and steel accessories, automobiles, engineering, agriculture, seed processing, silk and energy. Discussions will also be held on the industrial potential of Jalna and measures required to strengthen the local industrial ecosystem.
Rahul Agarwal said Gaurav Dayal, president of the JNPT Authority, and Dipendra Singh, Chief Executive Officer of MIDC, will attend the summit as chief guests.
He said a major demand to be raised before the MIDC authorities would be the commencement of the fourth phase of the Jalna industrial area and expediting the Bidkin-Jalna Industrial Corridor. These projects, he said, would help attract large-scale investment and create employment opportunities in the district.
