Reuters reported that oil prices moved lower Tuesday as exports from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates improved, although prices remained substantially higher for the month.

Higher energy prices are being closely watched in the United States because they can feed into transportation costs, household budgets and broader inflation expectations.
