Reuters reported that Trump rejected accounts from Axios and CNN that Washington was prepared to ease sanctions under conditions tied to Iran’s nuclear program. Trump said he had offered Iran nothing.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said Tehran is open to negotiations but rejects what he described as coercion. Separate contacts involving U.S., Iranian and regional officials are continuing as mediators seek a diplomatic path.
