ATLANTA: Organizers of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics say the Olympic torch relay will begin in Atlanta and travel through all 50 U.S. states before reaching Los Angeles.

The relay is scheduled to begin in Atlanta, host city of the 1996 Summer Olympics. Organizers say the route will highlight communities across the country ahead of the Los Angeles Games.

The 2028 Olympics will return the Summer Games to the United States for the first time since 1996.
