Ramco Cements is in focus after completing debottlenecking and upgrade work at its Jayanthipuram integrated cement facility.
The company has increased clinker manufacturing capacity at the site to 5.62 million tonnes per annum, while grinding capacity has also been expanded, according to company information.

Debottlenecking can allow a cement producer to increase output by improving existing infrastructure instead of building an entirely new integrated facility. The eventual benefit depends on capacity utilisation, cement prices, input costs and freight expenses.
