India’s Ancy Sojan won silver in the women’s long jump at the 2026 Asian Games in Nagoya after recording a best effort of 6.53 metres.
China’s Huang Yingying took gold with a late 6.55m jump, edging Sojan by two centimetres.
Sojan’s performance added another athletics medal to India’s strong showing on the track and field circuit at Aichi-Nagoya.
