जालना में जल संकट गहराया: दावरवाड़ी में फूटी जायकवाड़ी की मुख्य पाइपलाइन, तीन दिन का जल आपूर्ति शटडाउन घोषित
जालना: जालना शहर की जीवनरेखा मानी जाने वाली जायकवाड़ी जलापूर्ति योजना की मुख्य पाइपलाइन मंगलवार को पैठण तहसील के दावरवाड़ी क्षेत्र में फूट गई। इस हादसे में खेतों में लाखों लीटर पानी बह गया, जिससे न केवल जल की भारी बर्बादी हुई बल्कि पूरे शहर की जल व्यवस्था अस्त-व्यस्त हो गई। नगर निगम ने स्थिति की गंभीरता को देखते हुए तीन दिनों के लिए जल आपूर्ति शटडाउन की घोषणा की है।
वर्तमान में शहर को जायकवाड़ी डैम और घाणेवाड़ी जलाशय से जल आपूर्ति की जाती है। गर्मी के मौसम में जल की मांग अत्यधिक बढ़ी हुई है, जबकि नागरिकों को 8 से 12 दिनों में एक बार ही पानी मिल पा रहा है। अब पाइपलाइन के क्षतिग्रस्त हो जाने से यह संकट और गहरा हो गया है।
नगर निगम के जल आपूर्ति विभाग के शहर अभियंता राजेश बगले ने बताया:
“फूटी हुई पाइपलाइन जमीन के दो से तीन फीट भीतर है, जिसे ठीक करने के लिए खुदाई आवश्यक है। मरम्मत कार्य में तीन दिन लग सकते हैं। इसके बाद पंप चालू कर जल आपूर्ति बहाल करने में और समय लग सकता है।”
