Jalna, Special Correspondent
Jalna is preparing to host its first seminar on ‘Ram Rajya and the Indian Constitution’ on November 15, 2026. The subject is timely: constitutional justice, equality, fraternity and public welfare must be meaningful in everyday life, particularly when communities face water scarcity and drought-related concerns.
Programme details
The seminar is scheduled for Sunday, November 15, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Bharti Lawns, Saklecha Nagar Corner, Bhokardan Road, Jalna. Supreme Court Senior Advocate Ashwini Upadhyay is the announced principal speaker. Social worker Ghanshyamseth Goyal is a guest. The invitation specifies first-come, first-priority admission.
Constitutional values and Ram Rajya
The modern ideal of Ram Rajya can be understood as a commitment to ethical, accountable and inclusive governance. Article 14 of India’s Constitution guarantees equality before the law; Article 15 prohibits discrimination on specified grounds; and Article 21 protects life and personal liberty. These safeguards matter to people of every caste, religion and economic background. Timely justice, women’s safety, farmer support and transparent public services are practical expressions of public welfare.
Inspiration to confront drought
Water scarcity concerns in Jalna and Marathwada make environmental responsibility especially relevant. Article 48A directs the State to endeavour to protect and improve the environment, while Article 51A(g) identifies environmental protection as a fundamental duty of citizens. Rainwater harvesting, groundwater recharge, tree planting, careful water use and support for affected farmers require cooperation between residents, organisations and public authorities. A seminar can inspire such action, although effective drought response also depends on concrete planning and implementation.
Statement of Shri Hastimalji Bumb
The values of Ram Rajya should be expressed through equal justice and dignity for all communities. During Diwali, citizens can extend the spirit of light to families facing hardship and work together on water conservation and support for farmers.
Statement of Shri Satishji Panch
Effective implementation of constitutional protections, accountable administration and equal opportunity are urgent priorities. Protecting natural resources, helping farmers and uniting across communities are important ways to confront drought-related challenges.
A message for the community
Light every home, protect every drop of water, secure justice for every citizen and bring hope to every family.
Shri Hastimal Bumb and the organising committee cordially invite citizens to attend the seminar on November 15, 2026.
