₹40 Lakh Gold Heist in Hingna: Armed Robbers Target Jewellery Shop in Broad Daylight

Nagpur, Maharashtra

NAGPUR: Police are investigating a brazen daylight robbery at a jewellery shop in Wanadongri on Hingna Road, where four armed men allegedly escaped with gold ornaments worth nearly ₹40 lakh.

Employee allegedly held at gunpoint

According to police information reported by Times of India, the men arrived on motorcycles, pulled down the shop shutters and threatened an employee. The gang allegedly took around 35 tola of gold while leaving silver articles and cash behind.

The shop is owned by Rajesh Dhomne and is located near a veterinary hospital. Investigators are examining the escape route and other evidence.

Police search for the gang

The allegations remain under investigation. CCTV footage, vehicle movements and local surveillance are likely to be important in identifying the suspects.
