India has raised concerns about the implications of a newly enacted US sanctions law during talks with a bipartisan US Congressional delegation in New Delhi.
The Times of India reported that Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri discussed the implications for bilateral ties and international energy markets. The two sides also discussed other bilateral issues.
The development comes as India balances relations with the United States, Russia and other major energy suppliers.
