Asian Games 2026 Squash: Anahat Singh, Tanvi Khanna, Abhay Singh and Veer Chotrani Reach Quarterfinals

India enjoyed a strong day in squash at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, with Anahat Singh, Tanvi Khanna, Abhay Singh and Veer Chotrani reaching the singles quarterfinals.

All-Indian women’s quarterfinal

Anahat defeated Singapore’s Au Yeong Wai Iynn 3-0, while Tanvi came from behind to beat Au Yeong Wai Yhann 3-1. Their victories set up an all-Indian quarterfinal on September 25.

Abhay and Veer advance

Abhay Singh defeated Sri Lanka’s Ravindu Laksiri in straight games. Veer Chotrani survived a five-game contest against Malaysia’s Sanjay Jeeva.

Mixed doubles progress

Joshna Chinappa and Velavan Senthilkumar also moved into the mixed doubles quarterfinals, adding another medal route for India.
