A new adventure has arrived for fans of the Crossy Road series. Hipster Whale and Atari launched Crossy Road Rush on November 5, making the arcade-style platforming game available exclusively through Apple Arcade.
A new island adventure in Crossy Cove
The game takes the familiar Crossy Road characters to Crossy Cove, a colourful island filled with obstacles, hazards and challenges. Instead of simply repeating the classic road-crossing formula, the new title combines runner and platforming elements with more freeform movement.
More than 50 hand-crafted levels
According to the launch announcement, Crossy Road Rush arrives with more than 50 hand-curated levels. Players can explore Adventure Mode, complete quests, collect rewards and unlock different boards. The game also includes daily challenges, global leaderboards and a Survival Mode.
Local and online multiplayer
Multiplayer is one of the main features of the release. Up to four players can join through local co-op or online multiplayer, making it possible to enjoy the island challenges with friends and family. Players can also collect characters, hats and vehicles as they progress.
