UK customs arrangements at Sevington and Holyhead inland border facilities are expected to change from early 2027.

HM Revenue & Customs says customs checks at Sevington are expected to transition to facilities provided by the Port of Dover and Getlink, while Holyhead arrangements are expected to move to infrastructure within the port. GOV.UK says there are no immediate changes to current processes.

The changes are part of the UK’s longer-term move away from temporary inland border facilities created after Brexit.
