China crossed the 100-gold mark at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games as the continental multi-sport event entered its closing phase.
Reuters reported that China continued to dominate several disciplines, including canoe sprint, shooting and diving, while Japan also made progress on the medal table as host nation.
The Games have also featured strong performances from countries across Asia, including India’s double kabaddi golds and medal-winning displays in athletics and shooting.
