NTA’s New High-Security Office Reviewed Ahead of Major National Entrance Exams

NEW DELHI: Higher Education Secretary Deepti Gaur Mukherjee has reviewed the National Testing Agency’s new headquarters at Minto Road as the agency prepares for upcoming national examinations under a substantially strengthened security framework.

Restricted zones and stronger digital security

The new premises include restricted-access confidential areas and enhanced information-security arrangements. CISF personnel have been deployed, while the agency has been reorganising processes following concerns raised by the NEET paper-leak episode.

The review covered infrastructure and administrative readiness intended to support secure examination operations.

Trust is as important as logistics

Millions of students depend on national entrance examinations. Secure question-paper handling, reliable technology, transparent procedures and rapid communication when problems arise are essential to restoring confidence.
