Italy’s Jannik Sinner Withdraws From China Open Over Knee Injury

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner has withdrawn from the 2026 China Open because his knee is not yet ready for competition.

Reuters reported that the Italian has not played since winning his fifth Grand Slam title at Wimbledon in July and also missed the US Open.

Sinner said he hopes to return to competition soon and plans to come back to Beijing next year. More tennis news.
