The next annual India-Russia summit will be held in Russia, according to India’s Ministry of External Affairs, although no date has yet been announced for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit.
The Times of India reported that the announcement came amid discussions between India and a visiting US Congressional delegation.
The annual summit remains an important channel for India-Russia discussions on trade, defence, energy and wider bilateral relations.
